In 2014, my life changed forever. One minute, I was a fun-loving, independent, career woman in action sports, living full throttle… the next, I was bedridden, living with my parents, riding out panic attacks at 10 am and wondering who I even was anymore. The diagnosis list grew longer than my to-do list… PTSD, depression, anxiety, the works. Later came Long COVID and bone-deep fatigue that made washing my hair feel like climbing Everest. I’d chased success so hard I’d misplaced myself.
I realised there was trauma I hadn’t faced and healing I’d been avoiding. So I went in. Therapy, EFT tapping, nervous-system work, meditation, sound healing… hours upon hours learning how to regulate a scrambled brain and a fried body. It wasn’t pretty. It was honest. And it worked.
Piece by piece, I rebuilt. Confidence that didn’t depend on a job title. Boundaries that actually held. Tools that calmed panic, eased pain, and made room for joy again. I kept learning, kept practising, kept choosing my health over the hustle… and my energy came back online.
Turning my recovery into a roadmap, I retrained and created A BRAVE Choice Method™. Since 2018, my talks, workshops, and brand activations deliver energy, honesty, and results... people leave lighter, clearer, and calmer.
